A Study of Extreme Weather

We have all experienced extreme weather. From thunderstorms to snowstorms and everything in between. In this unit, we will be exploring different types of storms and we will determine if we think that these extreme phenomena are impacted by Global Warming.  You will choose from the following options, thunderstorm, snowstorm, ice storm, hailstorm dust storm, sand storm, tornadoes or hurricanes and create a multi media presentation that gives characteristics of the storms and survival tips.

Tasks:

Choose a severe weather condition and research the condition
Record this information on the weather report form.
    The form includes the following information you should research about your condition:
       
w how it occurs
       
w why it occurs
       
w where it occurs
       
w the affect it has on humans.

you should also include at least one safety tip with the condition you choose.

Procedure:

Day 1- Keyboarding practice then begin researching

Day 2 Research and complete the weather report form

Day 3- Begin the multimedia project

Day 4-5 Finish the project and enrichment
