Although your parents shoulder most of the heavy responsibilities such as taxes, military service, voting and jury duty, it is your responsibility to become an educated citizen of the 21st century.

The Process: With your partner, you will visit Web sites from Washington D.C., which will give you information about the three branches of Government. You will answer the questions and be ready to present your findings to the class.
When you have learned about the Legislative, Executive and Judicial Branches of Government, you will begin researching the Presidential Candidates of the November Elections. Gather information about the candidates and the issues and make judgments about which candidate best represents you and your views.
