Half-Day Fun-Camp Opportunities!
Looking for summer fun activities?
Half Day Fun-Camp is designed to provide fun
science activities for students currently in grades 3, 4, 5,
and 6.
Camp activities are for 1/2 day; 9:00-12:30.
$100/student.
Lunch is provided.
Pre-registration is required. Minimum enrollment 15 students; maximum enrollment
30 students.
Water Rockets:
Build high performance water rockets and launch them
at Challenger.
Parachutes:
Build and deploy parachutes with a variety of
payloads launched from a rip cord parachute frame.
Go Fly a Kite:
Teams will build a
tetrahedron kite and test fly it.
Snap
Circuits:
Introduction to circuitry
and electricity.
The science of speed:
Discover force, motion, energy, and friction
by learning basic car design and performance.
