Summer Camps

Robotics Camp

During this 5-day summer camp, students who will be in grades 5, 6, 7, 8 during the 2009-10 school year will have the opportunity to explore robotics.  Campers will build and program several robots which will be used to explore and perform tasks on Planet H-99. Lunch will be served daily.  Camp is from 9:00-12:30; July 12-16; and costs $120.00.

Note: This camp is designed for students who have little or no experience in robotics.

Half-Day Science Camp Opportunities!

Half Day Science camps are designed to provide fun activities for students currently in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6.  Camps are for 1/2 day activity opportunities.  $25 for each half day activity.  Lunch is provided. Pre-registration is required.  Minimum enrollment 15 students; maximum enrollment 25 students.  9:00-12:30.

Water Rockets Build high performance water rockets and launch them at Challenger.  Parachutes Build and deploy parachutes with a variety of payloads launched from a rip cord parachute frame.                                Go Fly a KiteTeams will build a tetrahedron kite and test fly it.  Snap CircuitsIntroduction to circuitry and electricity.
